Now, where were we? Oh yes, our second day at Disney World. We planned to get up very early and get to Hollywood Studios about a half hour before the gates opened. We were not alone in this plan. We were early enough to have a good place in line, but because of the Toy Story Mania craze people show their true colors while waiting for the park to open. It was like a black Friday super deal...I'm not kidding, people are ridiculous. I'm so glad Katie said this "i loved hearing what sounded like a former English teacher yelling "walk" as people ran by us." I said "really? Who?" Good thing Mom was monitoring their safety :)
Once we got in the park Jason and Jeremy went to get fast passes for Toy Story Mania. Mom, Dad, Ally, Alex, Maggie, Anna and I opted to go see Voyage of the Little Mermaid since everyone else was running to the get in line for Toy Story. It was very good and the kids really liked it. It was one I really wanted Maggie to see and the girls really seemed to like it. From there we re-grouped and made our way to Muppet's 3-D. Still love that one! We grabbed some popcorn and made our way to Toy Story Mania. Even the waiting area was impressive. It was as if you were in Andy's room. The ride is a 3-D ride and you pull a cord while shooting at different targets. Everyone loved this one and i can see why there is such a "buzz" about it. With Katie's great planning we had lunch reservations at Hollywood and Vine for a character meal. The Handy Manny, Special Agent Oso and a few of the other characters from the Disney Jr. shows were there. They sang and danced during the meal so the kids were very entertained. After lunch we made a quick exit so we didn't miss naps! Adults and children did much better having naps. Jason, my dad, Jeremy and Jack stayed at Hollywood studios and met us at Magic Kingdom after naps. They were able to see Star Wars, Indiana Jones and a few other things during the afternoon.
I don't know who was more excited to go to Magic Kingdom. The kids, the parents or the grandparents? As much fun as the other parks are you know you are at Disney World once you are at the Magic Kingdom. We stopped to take a few pictures and let the kids have a snack. We noticed there wasn't a long wait for Pirates of the Caribbean so that was our first stop. Jason and I talked to Maggie constantly during the ride to avoid any trouble. It worked, she loved it! She was excited about being on a ride and wanted to do it again. From there we made our way to Aladdin's Magic Carpet Ride. The picture above is of Ally and Maggie after they rode it with Jason. They said "that was awesome!" They were so sweet together. Then it was time for It's a Small World. Even Anna enjoyed ride, it was so bright and cheery everyone seemed to like it. Maggie has been singing Beauty and The Beast and It's a Small World for the past week. We had a quick dinner and took the boat back to our cabin.
We had great weather and the parks weren't so packed that you couldn't move. We were able to see nearly everything we wanted to do and with the use of fast passes didn't wait in line longer than 15 minutes for any ride.

When i told Jason i posted part 1 of several he said "oh brother, I'm sure that's captivating." Ha-yes, it absolutely is :) with that, I'll probably combine Wednesday and Thursday to save you
